Paper Me Wonderful

Purely Wondrous Inspiration

2012: Our Classroom

Image After coming off such an adventurous year in 2011 and celebrating our 10th Anniversary, we began 2012 with great expectation of serving more clients in and outside of Atlanta. While we were blessed to do just that, we also quickly learned that 2012 would be full of growing pains. This is not to say that the year was bad or unfortunate in any way because that would be an untruth; however, in anticipation of every great thing, there lies a great work...and boy, did we work! In our eleventh year of business, we worked harder than we ever worked before, yet it was all worth it. At the end of the day (metaphorically speaking), we realized that hard work didn't kill us, however, it did reveal the character of our company and of ourselves. In that hard work, we had to come to the realization that as much as we think we are super women, we are not. In our quest to do the best and be the best, something happened- we realized that we were human. Our spirits never wavered, but our minds and bodies did. This did not cause us to stop desiring to serve our clients, but it did cause us to miss some deadlines and inadvertently compromise others' expectations of the great service they were used to receiving. Personally, we encountered difficulty, but we tried to press on when we should have said "pause". Our year in review helped us to realize that although PWI is a very strong entity, it is not a perfect entity. We certainly can't expect to get it right 100% of the time, but we strive for it 110% of the time. At the very center of our company lies service and in some ways, we may have shifted from that in 2012. However, in 2013, we are returning to the core of what makes us unique and what keeps our clients returning time after time and that is superb service. We want to make sure that our clients, our vendors, and our industry partners know that they can always depend on Papered Wonders, Inc to provide excellent service and follow through with our commitment to provide stunning stationery. We were blessed to strengthen existing relationships and build new relationships in 2012 and we look forward to continuing to nurture those relationships in this new year. Furthermore, we are especially excited to serve our clients during some of the most memorable moments in their lives. When our clients allow us to take part in their journey through life, we are at our very best and we never want there to be any hesitation when our clients need a stationer. Our CEO was honored to take part in the Engage12! experience and hopes to infuse the knowledge she gained into our service this year. In 2013, we are determined to not only do better, but to be better. We look forward to growing and hope that you will grow with us. In 2013, we renew the attribute that carried us through the first decade of our business. In this new year, we are "committed to serve".

Pancakes and Paper

What better way to share the process of paper than over pancakes? We thought it was a fabulous idea so we held our first "Pancakes and Paper", a gathering for planners to learn about the PWI custom process. Some of our favorite Atlanta planners gathered on a beautiful morning at StudioWed Atlanta and shared an awesome start to the morning prepared by Black Tie Catering. Pancakes, just like our custom stationery, were made to order and included chocolate chip pancakes, buttermilk pancakes, and pancakes topped with apples and peaches. We enjoyed taking this opportunity to make our process better to understand for the planners that we love serving! Brian Green of F&G Weddings and Michelle Gainey of Lemiga Events also shared their insight on the wedding planning scene here in Atlanta.

Ahh, pancakes and paper...what a winning combination!
Special thanks to Morgan of HA! Photography for shooting the event for us!

Bridal Extravaganza of Atlanta

Papered Wonders, Inc. dares to be different and yesterday we participated in a fabulous bridal event, Bridal Extravaganza of Atlanta. It was held at the beautiful 200 Peachtree in downtown Atlanta. We spent time designing new stationery suites to display for 800 new brides that attended the event. It was awesome to be with our StudioWed family who had their own Pavilion setup near the fashion show. At Papered Wonders, Inc. we live and breathe stationery. It is our honor to take part in such a special day shared by the couple and our job doesn't end until the finest detail has been put into place. All of our designs are unique and share a piece of the love story unfolding during days leading to the wedding. As a custom design and print studio, it is our goal to customize even the smallest piece of stationery for each couple. The customization process includes styles, colors, fonts, graphics, and any other detail that it takes to make your wedding stationery all about you! We are a far cry from an ordinary catalog company where the process can be impersonal; instead, we walk our brides through every stage of the wedding stationery process to ensure that the final product meets every single requirement set forth by the bride. From save the dates that introduce the couple to invitations that set the standard of the wedding to programs that take a guest's breath away to favors that embed the wedding memory into the hearts of each guest, PWI seeks to create wedding stationery that can only be imagined in a bride's wildest papered dreams!

We encourage all of our brides to start the moment they say "yes". Our goal is for the customization process to be smooth and flawless and the best environment for that to happen is having the luxury of time. As soon as a bride decides to marry, we encourage her to begin thinking about her wedding stationery. The engagement is a journey and the wedding stationery should document every step of that journey. We also encourage brides to hire a planner so that all of their needs are met. Many brides are so excited about their wedding that they often forget minor, but important details. A planner ensures that all of those details are remembered and executed. Finally, one of the best pieces of advice we can give a bride is to remember that their wedding experience should be unique in every aspect. We encourage brides to make their wedding their own through every wedding detail and the wedding stationery is an awesome place to start.

These are the four new stationery suites we designed in honor of past clients Lauren Tennyson, Mar Towers, Nicola Horton and Angela Corbin.
