Paper Me Wonderful

Purely Wondrous Inspiration

AWC Planners Workshop Speaker Spotlight: Brian Green {F&G Weddings}

Ralph Waldo Emerson said, "Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm." I am so excited to be working alongside two of the most incredible wedding and event planners this side of heaven! Fast friends and passionate partners, The Atlanta Wedding Creative, brought us together to educate and inspire this industry with amazing design! One of my partners is Brian Green of F&G Weddings. Brian, known as Chief Dream Maker and Creative Visionary of F & G Weddings, is an award winning event planner with many years of experience in creating the most fabulous weddings for clients. I have embraced the honor of providing custom stationery for many of his brides over the last several years. Each time we meet I am totally blown away by the level of creativity he brings to each wedding. Brian is known for the "best friend experience" and I can truly attest to his passion and overwhelming desire for each client to have the most fabulous experience as they prepare for their big day. Wedding planners are not created equal. You may find some who concentrate on logistics, others who concentrate on design, but Brian is the complete package. He prides himself on taking your vision and creating that fabulous factor for every client in a way that speaks to who they are and what they want for their wedding day! With an amazing creative team to support his design and his ability to execute flawlessly, Brian Green works tirelessly to ensure love is always in the details.

Brian has a passion for educating and inspiring fellow associates in the wedding and event industry. You can hear him share his knowledge in an intimate setting and speak with him personally at the Atlanta Planner's Workshop at StudioWed happening February 18-19, 2012. Meet us in Midtown!

2010 has been a stellar year for our wedding stationery business. This wedding season has been awesome as we've had the opportunity to develop some great relationship with wedding and event planners and designers all over Atlanta. Our custom stationery designs have been recognized by planners nationwide and the requests are still coming in for affordable custom stationery. The Atlanta wedding industry is like no other big city in the country, as we love partnering with each other to help make couples' dreams come true. As industry professionals, we lunch together, network together, and even plan and design events together. Papered Wonders, Inc. is a team-minded company. We love to support others in their business endeavors, even other stationers and graphic designers. Our thought is this: there is certainly enough business to go around for everyone. Realizing every client is not ours, it is important to get to know others in the industry so that our referrals remain confident in the vendors we recommend. We truly believe God has favored us.
As we enter into the second half of the year, we are excited to announce Papered Wonders, Inc. is now a part of StudioWed Atlanta. Under the leadership of Michelle Gainey of Lemiga Events, this is a hip and revolutionary concept in local and destination weddings in Atlanta: a stylish and sophisticated planning studio where the area's best vendors come to you. Meet with a photographer over coffee in the morning, pick your stationery over lunch and enjoy a glass of wine as you chat with a florist later in the afternoon. Best of all, there's no cost to you to use StudioWed's services, so you can feel free to spend an entire day -- or as many as you need -- planning your big day.
We are honored to be a part of such an exclusive group of vendors and look forward to providing the same excellent service as you've come to expect at Papered Wonders, Inc. For more information about StudioWed, visit www.studiowed.net/atlanta.

A Mother's Day Affair to Remember

We were honored to provide “papered wonders” for Ron Lazarus, owner of the award winning Affairs to Remember. Our friend, William Fogler or Wm Events helped to design and plan a spectacular Mother’s day luncheon held at the Affairs facility. A festive spring time yellow palette paired  with coral bertani silk accented by  silver set the tone. Lush gardenesque centerpieces of Strawberry plants, Flaming Parrot & Peonis Tulips were the focal of every table designed by Wm Events. Luxe china including the show stopping Starburst chargers and Tulip crystal glassware from Classic Party Rentals were key to  the design. Decadent chocolates from Julia Baker Confections were personalized with a note, that we designed, from Ron as guest favors.

The endless menu including lobster fritters, Chicken Schnitzel and Lump Crab cocktails was fit for a Queen. A four course seated meal elegantly presented by the ever attentive staff of Affairs right in the kitchen.

We created an elegant suite of place cards, menus and tags for gifts all on rich pearlized card stock with rich chocolate print.Event Drapery defined the space with an organdy and satin design. Greg and Sandra Scott of Picture This! captured the whole event.

Thanks William for allowing us to serve another great event. It was truly an affair to remember.

Black and White with a Splash of Sunshine!

Black and white are timeless and classic colors. These two colors have transcended the barriers of time and the confines of trends. Both hues denote elegance and style and can be used in a variety of ways. While we love these two colors all by themselves, we especially love them with just a hint or splash of a bold color. Yes, black and white complemented by a strong accent color can create the fiercest look. For a unique tablescape design at Ritz & Glitz:  A Bridal Showcase, we took the color palette of black, white, and yellow and transformed it into something extraordinary. These rich patterns and colors came together to complete the perfect look for the table design. And yes, they were indeed showstoppers.
